Max Bredig (1902-1977) thanks Dr. Wondemar Weyl (1901-1975), a professor at Pennsylvania States University, for his help in fostering his relationships with new like-minded colleagues. Bredig seeks to find other scientists with interest in the production of calcium cyanamid. Those who Bredig knows of include Fritz Hochwald (1897-1968), Bredig's friend and colleague who is unavailable due to his internment in Spain.
