1957 postage stamp from Yugoslavia, depicting the Scopolia carniolica plant. Scopolia carniolica is a highly toxic plant containing potent tropane alkaloids, primarily scopolamine and hyoscyamine. The plant is the symbol of the Slovene Society of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care Medicine.
