Fritz Hochwald (1897-1968) writes to Max Bredig (1902-1977) from the Miranda de Ebro concentration camp in Spain. Hochwald is discouraged by his inability to obtain a visa to immigrate to the United States and is unsure of the reason for his denial. He misses his scientific work immensely and requests that Bredig send him a government research leaflet in his next letter.
