Letter from an unknown sender to Otto Haas (1872-1960). The author asks Haas when he can visit Vassar College and mentions Phoebe Waterman Haas (1882-1967).

Phoebe Waterman Haas was one of the first American women to earn her doctorate in astronomy in 1913. After graduating, she was appointed as an assistant to the Argentine National Observatory in Córdoba, Argentina. The two were married on February 22, 1914.
