Exterior view of a portion of Young's Million Dollar Pier in Atlantic City, New Jersey, with a sign for "Dearborn" visible over a striped awning. Per notations accompanying the photograph, Dearborn Chemical and Drug Works (later Dearborn Chemical Company) maintained a permanent hospitality suite at the pier for entertaining railroad executives. Founded in 1887, the Dearborn Chemical Company was a corporate ancestor of BetzDearborn, Incorporated best known for manufacturing water treatment chemicals for use in boilers, cooling towers, and steam locomotives.
