Nach Mitteilung seitens meines Vaters ist gemäss Auskunft beim Poliziepräsidenten Berlin der Heimatschein für mich inzwischen an Sie abgegangen. Ich möchte daher meine Bitten wiederholen, ihn mir, sobald er bei Ihnen eingegangen ist, zuzustellen.
Gleichzeitig möchte ich mir die Anfrage erlauben, was ich zu tun habe, um eine Verlängerung des Auslandsvermerks, der nach einjähriger Gültigkeit in den nächsten Wochen erlischt,in meinem noch 4 weitere Jahre gültigen Pass zu erhalten.
Weiterhin darf ich wohl annehmen, mit diesem Schreiben meiner Meldepflicht als deutscher Staatsbürger im Ausland genügt zu haben.

According to information conveyed to my father from the Berlin Chief of Police, my residence certificate was recently sent to you. I would therefore like to request again that it be sent to me after you have processed it.
At the same time, I would like to inquire what I need to do to extend the foreign residence notification in my passport, which is valid for 4 more years. The current foreign residence notification expires in the next few weeks.
Moreover, I request that this letter suffice as my required notification as a German citizen abroad.
