Alvin Saunders Johnson (1874-1971) informs Georg Bredig (1868-1944) that Alfred Reis (1882-1951) was not accepted into their project, which was to rescue European refugee scholars. In the letter, Johnson explains that Reis was over the age limit and was not considered for the program.
