Lieber Herr Bredig!
Von Herrn Prof. Pohl bezw. Ihrem Herrn Vater werden Sie wohl von dem Stand der Angelegenheit gehört haben. Mit der Eingabe an die Notgemeinschaft muss ich warten bis die Eingabe des Herrn Prof. Pohl erledigt wird. Es ist sehr bedauerlich dass die Angelegenheit viel so in die Länge zieht, umsomehr als die Ferien bald beginnen und dann die massgebenden Personen schwer zu erreichen sein werden.
Den Beginn der Arbeit dachte ich auf Beginn des Oktobers zu legen.
Ich möchte Ihnen noch mitteilen, dass ich einen Ruf an der Universität in Warschau erhalten habe, dass aber unsere Pläne dadurch nicht

geändert werden. Im Wintersemester bin ich auf jeden Fall in München.

You have probably heard about the status of the matter from Professor Pohl and your father. I must wait until Professor Pohl’s submission has been taken care of before applying to the funding agency. It is very unfortunate that the matter is taking so long, especially since vacation is about to start and the necessary people will then be difficult to reach.
I plan to have your work start at the beginning of October.
I would also like to inform you that I received an appointment at the university in Warsaw, but that our plans

will not change. I will definitely be in Munich during the winter semester.
