Official diploma granting Georg Bredig (1868-1944) the Jubilee Medal awarded on April 25, 1902, the occasion of the 50th anniversary (the golden jubilee) of Grand Duke Friedrich I (1826-1907) assuming the throne of Baden. The diploma originally would have been accompanied by the medal itself.

Bredig was awarded the medal in his official capacity as a professor at the University of Heidelberg. The diploma was signed (in facsimile) by Arthur von Brauer, Baden State Minister (1845-1926), as well as a local official.
